Enzymes and surfactants help remove food residue and grease. The result also depends on the right dose, the programme, the water hardness and how you load your dishwasher.
Remove large food scraps. For normal soiling, place half a sheet directly inside the dishwasher, for example in the cutlery basket, not in the detergent compartment: there, especially in older machines, it gets too little water and does not fully dissolve. For heavy soiling, use a whole sheet. Start the right programme.
Choose the programme to suit your dishes and how soiled they are, as described in your dishwasher manual. Make sure the spray arms can move freely.
Set salt and rinse aid according to your water hardness and your dishwasher manual. The detergent does not automatically replace these settings.
