Before they fluff up your towels, their story begins with the sheep. The wool our dryer balls are made from grows in New Zealand.
We choose high-quality, pure virgin wool. Naturally elastic, resilient and hand-felted into dense balls. A deliberately chosen material for something that will accompany you through many laundry days.
01The origin
Our wool comes from sheep in New Zealand. Virgin wool is obtained by shearing living sheep. The fleece grows back - so the story of this natural material begins anew again and again.
02*The material
Wool fibres are naturally crimped. That makes them elastic and resilient. These are exactly the qualities we value in our high-quality New Zealand virgin wool: it becomes a helper you don't have to replace after every wash.
03*The craftsmanship
In felting, the wool fibres bond together. By shaping and compacting, loose wool becomes a firm ball. Our dryer balls are hand-felted: dense, easy to grip and in XL size, around 7 cm in diameter.
Pure wool. Careful handwork. Three balls that last.

for the small big moments -
Make the last step easier for yourself. What do you wish for in your laundry routine?
*You look forward to a soft towel after the shower. Our wool balls loosen up the textiles as they dry and make them fluffier - with no added perfume.
Soft through movement. Completely natural.
*When laundry lies packed tightly together, warm air doesn't reach every spot equally well. The balls move between the textiles and loosen them up. That shortens the drying time and saves energy.
How much you save depends on the machine, load and programme.
More air in between. Less time needed.
*Less plastic starts with the things you use often. Your balls are made of pure wool, arrive in plastic-free packaging and stay with you through many laundry baskets.
Buy once. Use again and again.
no new ritual. Just one small step.
No measuring, no refilling. The balls work with the movement of your drum.

*Place the three balls loosely in the dryer with the damp, freshly washed laundry. Don't overfill the drum: textiles and balls need space to move.
Choose the programme to suit your textiles. While the drum turns, the balls loosen up the laundry. Warm air gets between the layers more easily.
Take out the laundry and the balls. Let the balls dry completely in the open air before you put them back in the bag. Ready for your next laundry basket.
Only for dryer-safe textiles. Follow the care labels and your appliance's instructions.

We choose high-quality, pure New Zealand virgin wool. Wool is naturally elastic and resilient. Densely hand-felted, it becomes a long-lasting ball that moves with the laundry and loosens it up mechanically. For us, the origin and the natural material are part of a conscious product choice.
Use all three balls from the set together. Add them loosely to the damp laundry and don't overload the drum, so the textiles can move well.
The balls loosen up the laundry and improve air circulation in the drum. That shortens the drying time and lowers energy use. How big the saving is depends on your dryer, the load, the textiles, the residual moisture and the programme.
The balls are used loose in the dryer drum. Follow your appliance's instructions, including for heat pump dryers and washer-dryers. If your manufacturer rules out the use of dryer balls, follow their guidance. The balls belong in the drying cycle, not in the wash cycle.
No, the balls contain no added fragrances. They are made of 100% New Zealand virgin wool. As a natural material, wool can have a slight natural smell of its own.
After each use, let the balls dry completely in the open air. Store them somewhere dry and airy. That way they're ready for the next dryer cycle.
The balls move with the laundry, which can cause some noise. How clearly you hear it depends on the load and the machine. Use all three balls together with a suitable amount of laundry and follow the appliance instructions.
Yes. Your set of 3 is delivered in plastic-free packaging.
No. The dryer balls are made of animal virgin wool. If you want to avoid animal materials, they are not the right choice for you.
No. The dryer balls only go into the dryer after washing. They loosen up the laundry mechanically and don't clean it. For the washing machine, you keep using your detergent.
